Strawberry Pimm’s Fizz

A fresh and fruity spin on a classic Pimm's cup made with sweet, jammy summer strawberries. Cheers!
Servings 1 drink

Ingredients

For the strawberry syrup:

  • fresh strawberries, stems removed and roughly chopped
  • granulated sugar

For the Pimm’s Fizz:

  • 1 ounce London dry-style gin
  • 1 ounce Pimm’s No. 1
  • 1 ounce strawberry syrup
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 Vital Farms egg white
  • sparkling water
  • 3 small strawberries for garnish
  • lemon slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine the strawberries and sugar into a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved, the liquid is thick and syrupy and the strawberries have started to break down, about 10 minutes.
  • Strain the syrup over a bowl through a fine mesh strainer and discard the strawberry pulp. Transfer the syrup to a jar and allow to cool completely before using.
  • To make the Pimm’s Fizz, add the gin, Pimm’s, strawberry syrup, lemon juice and egg white to a cocktail shaker and shake for about 30 seconds.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake again for about another 30 seconds, until shaker is very cold.
  • Fill a glass with ice, pour the contents of the cocktail shaker over the ice. Top with sparkling water and garnish with a lemon slice and strawberries.

The Brown Sugar

Impress your friends and family this holiday season with this richly decadent cocktail featuring Ten To One Dark Rum and Vital Farms Butter.

Servings 1 cocktail

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Large heat-resistant bowl
  • Gallon size Ziploc bag
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Rocks glass

Ingredients

Cocktail

  • 2 oz Ten to One Dark Rum brown butter*
  • 1/4 oz banana syrup*
  • 4 drops chocolate mole bitters
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 twist of orange peel

*Ten To One Dark Rum Brown Butter (make 1 day ahead)

  • 12 oz Ten To One Dark Rum
  • 4 tbsp Vital Farms Butter

*Banana Syrup (make 1 day ahead)

  • 2 ripe bananas sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • 1/4 cup hot water

Instructions

Make the Ten To One Dark Rum Brown Butter

  • Whisk 4 tbsp sliced butter in skillet at low heat.
  • Watch carefully as lightly browned specks begin to form at the bottom of the pan. Smell the butter; it should have a nutty aroma.
  • Combine with 12oz TTO Dark Rum in a heat-resistant bowl.  
  • Store in fridge overnight (the butter will harden and some will separate from the rum, strain any large solids).
  • Yields 8–10 servings.

Make the Banana Syrup

  • Add all ingredients to Ziploc bag, pouring in the warm water last.
  • Massage ingredients in the bag to dissolve the sugar.
  • Set aside and allow ingredients to infuse.
  • Massage every 30 min for 4–5hrs until sugar fully dissolves.
  • Store in fridge overnight.
  • Yields 20–24 servings.

Make the Cocktail

  • Add all ingredients & ice in cocktail shaker, stir to combine.
  • Strain into glass with ice.
  • Garnish with an orange twist.

You’ll have a lot of banana syrup leftover! Drizzle it over some pancakes or if you’re really brave, use it to experiment with a new banana bread recipe.

  • 3/4 oz Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz Agave Syrup
  • 2-3 Dashes Sesame Oil

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients & shake in a cocktail shaker.
  • Add ice & shake again.
  • Pour into glass or coup.

A creamy spiced cocktail perfect for those cold winter months.

Ingredients

Vanilla Spiced Butter

  • 16 tbsp Unsalted Vital Farms Butter
  • 3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Star Anise
  • 1/2 tsp Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp Pink Peppercorn
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick

Cocktail

  • 6 oz Hot Water
  • 2 1/2 oz TTO Dark Rum
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Spice Vital Farms Butter

Instructions

  • Make the Vanilla Spiced Butter: Heat butter & spice in pot on low until melted.
  • Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • Strain spices & store in a nonreactive container.
  • Prepare the Cocktail: Add hot water and rum to preheated mug.
  • Stir in Vanilla Spice Butter until dissolved.
  • Garnish with nutmeg & star anise.

Better Butter Coffee

Perhaps you’ve heard that butter coffee is a thing now. Unless you’ve been living under a rock – in which case, consider this your notice. Yes, early birds across the globe have taken to plopping creamy pats of butter into their morning joe, and while this may initially sound crazy, when you consider the benefits – increased energy, sharper focus, satiated appetite, fuel for fat-burning – it’s actually crazy awesome.
One small catch: the butter’s gotta be better, which means it comes from happy, pasture-roaming cows. Ours is all that and more, with an 85% butterfat content that renders it the tastiest, creamiest, most delectable butter you’ve ever tasted. Don’t let us catch you buttering your brew with anything less.
Start out with this simple base recipe and spice it up from there with all your faves.

Ingredients

  • 8-12 ounces brewed coffee
  • 1 tablespoon Vital Farms Butter
  • 1 tablespoon MCT oil We swear by Onnit brand

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  • Blend until frothy + enjoy! You can even add your favorite spices like cinnamon or vanilla bean, or blend in a touch of maple syrup for a little sweetness.
